LEICESTER — A 20-year-old man from Brandon was arrested on a warrant following an incident in Leicester yesterday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop after an observed motor vehicle violation near the intersection of US Route 7 and Fern Lake Road at around 8:50 p.m.
Over the course of the traffic stop, Trent Ingalls was identified to have an extraditable warrant out of Delaware.
State police confirmed the warrant with the Delaware State Police and identified the original charges listed as murder in the first degree.
Ingalls was transported to the New Haven barracks for processing and was lodged and held without bail at Marble Valley Correctional Facility.
He is currently being committed to await extradition to Delaware.
