RUTLAND — A 31-year-old man was arrested on a warrant following an incident in Rutland on Tuesday.
Authorities say they were notified of a citizen dispute involving Victor Norris, of Rutland, on US Route 7 south, at around 9:50 p.m.
Police say Norris had active warrants from the states of Vermont and New Jersey.
Troopers made contact with Norris and he was taken into custody.
Norris was identified to have an extraditable warrant out of New Jersey.
State Police confirmed the warrant with Morris County Prosecutors Office and identified the original charges listed under New Jersey Penal Code.
Police say Norris was transported to the Marble Valley Regional Correctional facility for the warrant and currently being committed to await extradition to New Jersey.
