HIGHGATE — A 20-year-old man from California was arrested in Highgate yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified by the US Border Patrol that they had a man in custody identified as Ronaldo Stana, of California, who had an extraditable warrant out of Texas.
State police confirmed the warrant with Texas and identified the original charge listed under Texas law as fraudulent use or possession of credit card or debit card information.
Stana was transported to the St. Albans State Police barracks for processing and was lodged on $10,000 bail at Northwest Correctional Facility.
He was issued a flash citation for court today for the offense of fugitive from justice.
