FAIR HAVEN — A 61-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Fair Haven last week.
Police say they arrested James Diefenbach, of Fair Haven, following an investigation into a domestic dispute on April 20.
On April 19, police were called to West Street for a reported assault.
Following an investigation, police found that Diefenbach allegedly got into an altercation with another household member causing injury.
He was also found to have violated his conditions of release from a prior assault case.
He was arrested and issued a citation to appear in court to answer to the charges of domestic assault and violation of conditions of release.
