LEICESTER — Vermont State Police have arrested a Leicester resident for assault after responding to a report of an altercation in Addison County today.
According to authorities, Dominique Colford, 23, allegedly assaulted Dillon MacDougall, 25, of Middlebury.
Colford was taken into custody and processed for simple assault.
Colford was released with a citation to appear in Addison County District Court, Criminal Division at a later date.
The incident took place around 3:27 p.m. today and was reported to Vermont State Police New Haven Barracks shortly thereafter.
