RUTLAND — A 21-year-old man from Clarendon was arrested for DUI in Rutland on Wednesday.
Authorities say they were notified of a suspicious vehicle on Barrett Hill Road at around 1:25 a.m.
Police say they observed a motor vehicle parked on the public highway with a man identified as Elijah Williams, asleep at the wheel.
While speaking with troopers, Williams displayed numerous indicators of impairment.
He was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Rutland City Police Department for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in court on May 8 to answer the charge.
