FERRISBURGH — A 19-year-old man from Charlotte was arrested following an incident in Ferrisburgh yesterday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop on Greenbush Road, near the intersection with Green Meadow Lane, after observing a motor vehicle violation at around 10:10 p.m.
The driver was identified as Keagan Bothwell.
At that time, Bothwell’s license was criminally suspended in the state of Vermont.
While speaking with Bothwell, police say they detected indicators of impairment.
He was screened, placed under arrest, and transported to the Vergennes Police Department for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, Bothwell was released to a sober party with a citation to appear in court at a later date.
