RUTLAND — A 41-year-old man was cited for assault following an incident in Rutland last month.
Authorities say they were notified of an assault complaint on Lincoln Avenue at around 5:40 a.m. on March 29.
Police allege that Michael Tardiff, of Rutland, purposely and knowingly caused bodily injury to another.
Tardiff was issued a citation to appear in court at a later date to answer the charge.
