CHARLOTTE – A man was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs after a single-vehicle crash in the town of Charlotte.
According to the Vermont State Police, troopers responded to a report of a crash on Spear Street near Quinlan Farm Lane, yesterday at around 9:45 p.m.
The driver of the involved vehicle, Andrew Webbe, 48, of Charlotte, was arrested for DUI-Drug #4 after troopers detected several indicators of impairment.
Webbe was transported to the Vergennes Police Department for processing and later released on citation to appear at the Chittenden County Superior Court-Criminal Division at a later date to answer to the charge.
Assisting in the incident were the Vergennes Police Department, Williston Fire Department, and AnyTime Towing.
