NASHUA — A 19-year-old man has been arrested in Nashua, New Hampshire, and charged with stalking and domestic violence.
Pablo Soto-Batista was arrested on April 9, after police responded to a local address for a domestic violence incident between Soto-Batista and two other individuals known to him.
During the investigation, it was learned Soto-Batista had a previous conviction of stalking and domestic violence in July 2022, with one of the same female victims, making this a second offense.
Soto-Batista was charged with stalking; domestic violence, subsequent, a Class B Felony, and two counts of domestic violence simple assault, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Additionally, it was discovered that during the incident, Soto-Batista assaulted the other female victim.
A class B felony is punishable by up to 7 years in state prison, exclusive of fines.
A class A misdemeanor is punishable for up to 1 year in the county house of corrections, exclusive of fines.
Soto-Batista was released on cash bail.
He is scheduled to be arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court-South on May 11, 2023.
