FAIRFAX — A Colchester woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly violating an abuse prevention order and committing other offenses.
Sara Lamphere, 24, was arrested on March 20, for first-degree aggravated domestic assault and unlawful mischief.
She was released on two citations and Conditions of Release, which she allegedly violated the next day by harassing and threatening the victim.
Lamphere continued to violate her Conditions of Release and Abuse Prevention Order by accessing and utilizing the victim’s online accounts without permission, making harassing phone calls and messages, and committing the offenses of Unlawful Mischief and Stalking.
She was arrested multiple times and released by the court, only to continue her alleged violations.
On April 8, Lamphere was arrested again after allegedly following the victim home and violating her Conditions of Release and Abuse Prevention Order once more.
She was charged with the violations as well as for an active arrest warrant for previous Violations of Abuse Prevention Order.
Lamphere was taken into custody and transported to the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility, where she was held for lack of $5,000 bail.
The Vermont State Police are continuing to investigate the case.
She is scheduled to appear in court on April 12, 2023.
