POWNAL — A 18-year-old man was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Pownal yesterday.
The crash took place on US Route 7, near Purcell Dugway, at around 10:45 p.m.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Carter King, of Pownal, told police that he lost control on the rain-covered road while driving south and crossed the center line.
He hit a small rock ledge.
Police say nobody was injured as a result of the crash.
State Police were assisted on the scene by the Pownal Fire Department and Walt’s Towing.
