BERLIN — A 65-year-old woman from Sharon was arrested for DUI following a crash in Berlin yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on the off-ramp of exit 6 on I-89 south at around 6:10 p.m.
Police say the vehicle went off the road and collided with trees.
The driver was identified as Laurie Foster.
Following an investigation, police allege that Foster was under the influence of intoxicants at the time of the operation.
She was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and processed at the Berlin Police Department.
She was released with a citation to appear in court.
