EAST MONTPELIER — A 41-year-old man from Plainfield was arrested for DUI following a crash in East Montpelier yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place in front of the East Montpelier Fire Department on US Route 2 at around 5:30 p.m.
Police identified the driver as Odin Opsahl.
Following an investigation, police allege that Opsahl was under the influence of intoxicants while operating his motor vehicle.
He was taken into custody, and transported to Montpelier PD for processing.
