WATERBURY — Vermont State Police have arrested a Stowe man for his third DUI-Drug offense.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks were conducting a saturation patrol in the Waterbury area when they observed a minor motor vehicle infraction and stopped 65-year-old Aart Nugteren.
During the stop, troopers detected indicators of impairment and took Nugteren into custody for suspicion of DUI Drugs.
Nugteren was transported to the State Police Barracks in Berlin for processing and later released.
According to the Vermont State Police, Nugteren has a history of DUI-Drug offenses.
He is facing court action for his latest offense of DUI #3.
