Woman arrested for DUI in South Burlington

SOUTH BURLINGTON – A Williston woman has been arrested for suspicion of DUI after being found parked in the roadway with hazard lights flashing.

Vermont State Police located a vehicle parked in the roadway on Kimball Avenue in South Burlington on March 18, at 1:26 a.m.

The operator of the vehicle was identified as Mari J. Hill, 52, of Williston.

While Troopers were checking on Hill, she displayed indicators of impairment and was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI.

Hill was transported back to the Williston Barracks for processing and later released with a citation to appear in court to answer to the charge of DUI.

The incident remains under investigation by Vermont State Police.
