Robbery at Bunny’s Convenience in Manchester, suspect arrested

MANCHESTER – A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery at Bunny’s Convenience in Manchester.

According to the Manchester Police Department, yesterday at around 7:30 a.m., officers responded to a holdup alarm at the convenience store located at 947 Elm Street.

Upon arrival, they spoke with the clerk who reported that she had just been robbed.

The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Brandon Ross of Manchester, became upset when the clerk asked him for identification in order to purchase cigarettes.

The suspect threw hot coffee at the clerk and then demanded that she empty the cash register.

He fled the store with a quantity of cash.

Detectives and officers were able to review video surveillance from the store and multiple locations in the area.

They were able to track Ross back to an address on Market Street after he committed the robbery.

Ross was later located by detectives and officers exiting the building that he entered after the robbery.

He was placed into custody and transported to the Manchester Police Department where he was charged with robbery.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
