DERBY — A two-vehicle crash occurred on US Route 5 in the town of Derby on Monday afternoon, resulting in no injuries.
Police responded to the scene of the crash at around 2:40 p.m.
According to the investigation, Claire Burlton, 81, of Newport Center, was driving north on US Route 5 when she attempted to turn left and collided with the side of Paul Rouelle’s vehicle.
Rouelle, 67, of Irasburg, was traveling south on US Route 5 and ran over a road sign after the collision.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and sustained no injuries.
Burlton’s 2001 Toyota Highlander sustained damage to the front bumper and hood, while Rouelle’s 2017 GMC Sierra sustained damage to the driver rear panel and door.
Both vehicles were able to be operated after the crash.
