COLCHESTER – Troopers with the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Main Street in Fairfax yesteday.
Upon arrival, troopers identified the involved parties and discovered that Sara Lamphere, 24, of Colchester, had attempted to cause serious bodily injury to a family or household member and damaged approximately $1,500 worth of property.
Lamphere was also found to have an active arrest warrant for failure to appear out of Chittenden County.
She was taken into custody and transported to VSP St. Albans for processing.
Following a court order, Lamphere was released on two citations and conditions of release.
One citation was for her active warrant out of Chittenden County and the other was for the new charges listed above in Franklin County.
