BURLINGTON – Sharnay Handy, a 30-year-old from South Burlington, is set to appear in Chittenden County Court.
He is facing charges of being a fugitive from justice.
The charges stem from an arrest warrant issued out of New Hampshire for previous drug possession charges.
State Police in Williston were alerted to the active warrant after staff at the Chittenden County Correctional Facility identified Handy as having an outstanding warrant.
Upon further investigation, Handy was issued a citation to appear in court.
At this time, no additional information regarding the case has been released.
