TILTON – A Tilton man was taken into custody this morning on multiple outstanding warrants.
Shawn McKenney, 34, of West Main Street, was arrested by law enforcement officers for the sale of a controlled drug and felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.
The warrants were issued by the Tilton Police Department and the Laconia Police Department, respectively.
McKenney refused bail and is currently being held at the Belknap County Jail awaiting arraignment.
The authorities have not released any further details regarding the nature of the charges or the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
The Tilton Police Department and the Laconia Police Department worked together to execute the warrants and apprehend McKenney without incident.
