JERICHO — A 32-year-old woman was arrested for her second DUI following an incident in Jericho today.
Authorities say they were notified of an erratic vehicle traveling east on Route 15 at around 6:10 p.m.
Police intercepted the vehicle near Packard Road and made contact with the driver, identified as Jennifer Thurgate, of Jericho.
While speaking with Thurgate, police say they detected indicators of impairment.
Thurgate was arrested for the suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williston barracks for processing where she ultimately refused to an evidentiary breath test.
She was released to a sober adult with a citation to appear in court on April 6 to answer the charge of DUI #2.
