Fugitives arrested for shoplifting at Lowe’s in Wallingford, CT

WALLINGFORD — Two men were arrested Wednesday for shoplifting at a Lowe’s home improvement store in Wallingford, Connecticut.

Police say 31-year-old Jalil McIntyre of Jamaica, New York, and 23-year-old Deshun Jackson of Brooklyn, New York, were caught stealing several items from the store.

Responding officers quickly located McIntyre, who was wearing a green jacket and a New York Yankees hat, leaving the store after not paying for the items.

The second suspect, Jackson, was arrested a short time later without incident.

The get-away driver fled in a white GMC Acadia with NY registration KBT3518 and was not located.

Through further investigation, it was discovered that both men have extraditable arrest warrants out of New Hampshire.

Jackson was charged with larceny 5th Degree, Interfering with an Officer, and Fugitive from Justice.

He was held on a $10,000 bond.

McIntyre was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 5th Degree and Fugitive from Justice.

He was also held on a $10,000 bond.
