SOUTH RYEAGATE — A 45-year-old woman was arrested for her second DUI following an incident in South Ryegate yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle that failed to maintain its lane of travel and had driven into the median of I-91 south at around 8:05 p.m.
Police say they responded to the scene and made contact with the driver, identified as April Dyke, of South Ryegate.
During the investigation, police say they observed several signs of impairment.
Standard field sobriety tests were conducted, at which point Dyke was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
She was transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing, and cited to appear in court on March 27 for the violation.
