CAVENDISH — A snowmobile crash occurred today on Main Street in Cavendish.
According to the report, the operator of the snowmobile, Mark Funt, suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
The crash happened at around 11:30 a.m.
Funt was 75 years, and a resident of Setauket, New York.
The crash remains under investigation, and the cause of the accident is yet to be determined, police say.
The weather conditions were clear, with dry road conditions.
