NEWPORT — North Country Hospital has announced the appointment of Tom Frank as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 17, 2023.
Frank brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare leadership positions to this role, and for the last four years has served as Vice President of Medical Group Operations for Rutland Regional Medical Center.
Prior to that, Frank used his expertise at North Country when he served as Chief Operating Officer.
Frank’s breadth of experience in establishing a positive work culture, and achieving strong financial results, in addition to quality and service excellence, has been evident in each of his past positions.
“We are very fortunate to have Tom returning to North Country Hospital,” said Frank Knoll, Chair of the Board of Trustees. “We believe that he has the experience, vision, and leadership skills necessary to guide our hospital through the challenges and opportunities ahead.”
Frank is eager to begin his work here at North Country Hospital.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead such an exceptional healthcare organization,” he said. “I look forward to working collaboratively with the board, medical staff, and employees to continue providing high-quality care to our community.”
Frank will succeed the current Interim Managing Officer, Tracey Paul, who has served in this position since November.
The board expressed their gratitude to Tracey for her commitment and dedication to the hospital as she moves into the Chief Operating Officer position.
