BRATTLEBORO — According to GasBuddy’s recent survey, the average gasoline price in Vermont has decreased by 4 cents per gallon from the previous week to $3.40 per gallon today.
This is also down 10 cents per gallon from last month and 65 cents per gallon from the same time last year.
The lowest gasoline price in Vermont is currently $3.12 per gallon at Irving, located at 564 Canal Street & I-91 in Brattleboro.
The highest gasoline price is $3.61 per gallon in Northfield.
Moving on to gasoline prices in Burlington, prices have fallen by 9.3 cents per gallon in the last week and are 15.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
A survey of 100 stations in Burlington by GasBuddy shows the average price today to be $3.37 per gallon.
In addition, Burlington’s cheapest gasoline station yesterday was priced at $3.15 per gallon, while the most expensive was $3.49 per gallon, a difference of 34.0 cents per gallon.
The state’s lowest gasoline price yesterday was also $3.15 per gallon, while the highest was $3.61 per gallon, a difference of 46.0 cents per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has risen 3.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.36 per gallon today.
However, the national average price of gasoline is down 6.5 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 69.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
On the other hand, the national average price of diesel has fallen 4.6 cents in the last week and stands at $4.34 per gallon.
