WATERBURY — A 47-year-old man from Massachusetts was cited for leaving the scene of an accident in Waterbury today.
Authorities say they were notified of a crash involving a passenger car and a tractor-trailer on I-89 south at around 11:30 a.m.
According to the report, Richard Chandler, of Haverhill, MA, crashed into the side of the tractor-trailer then continued on without providing his information.
Police say he drove off the road into the median a short distance south of where the crash occurred.
Chandler was issued VCVCs and a criminal citation to appear in court at a later date for leaving the scene of an accident.
