SUNAPEE — Police in Sunapee say they responded to a report of a suspicious incident called in on Feb. 25.
At around noon, a male subject was reported digging for drugs in a snowbank on someone’s property.
The person was identified as the complainants neighbor and told police he had been confronted the previous night for doing the same thing.
The subject claimed to be looking for weed in a sock hidden in the snow and had apparently left with what he was looking for.
The police say they contacted the subject and advise him to stay off the property or face arrest.
