PITTSFIELD — A New Hampshire man is in custody following a shooting that took place at a residence in Mexico, Maine.
The incident occurred on February 11th and involved shots fired at a residence on Middle Avenue in Mexico.
The unknown shooter fled the scene before the arrival of the police.
Following an investigation, Guy M. Hanson, a 62-year-old man from Pittsfield, was arrested on February 18th in Rumford, Maine.
Hanson was charged with reckless conduct with a firearm, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, and possessing a firearm when prohibited.
He was later transported to the Oxford County Jail.
The case is still under investigation with other charges and arrests pending.
