ROYALTON — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Royalton this morning.
The crash took place on I-89 south at around 8:30 a.m.
Trooper Wang was stopped with blue lights illuminated on the side of the exit 3 off-ramp when a vehicle slid off the road.
While out speaking with the driver, Cara Houston, 35, of Bethel, came around the corner and collided with the unoccupied cruiser.
The ramp was closed for a short period of time while the vehicles were moved out of the road.
Police say Houston was assessed by the ambulance but was released.
The cruiser was able to be driven from the scene while Houston had to be towed due to the excessive front end damage.
