WOODFORD — A 53-year-old man from Bennington was seriously injured during a single-vehicle crash in Woodford yesterday.
The crash took place on Burgess Road at around 7:15 p.m.
A 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was seen with significant damage in the middle of the road.
The driver, Bradley J. Jelley, was located outside the vehicle with serious injuries.
Jelley was transported to Albany Medical Center for further treatment.
Police say that Jelley’s vehicle was traveling east on Burgess Road when the vehicle exited the south side of the road for unknown reasons.
The vehicle then hit two trees which caused significant contact damage to the front of the truck and tore the passenger side of the vehicle from the rest of the truck cab.
The vehicle ultimately came to rest in the center of Burgess Road.
