CAMPTON — Police are investigating after a driver left the scene of a crash in Campton yesterday.
Authorities were notified of a hit-and-run crash involving a telephone pole on Ellsworth Hill Road at around 6:45 p.m.
Police say th telephone pole was snapped in half and debris from a motor vehicle was left at the scene.
With the assistance of the New Hampshire State Police, the vehicle and driver were later located at a home in Ellsworth, New Hampshire.
Police say criminal charges are possible as the crash remains under investigation.
Police have not released the name of the suspect at this time.
