NASHUA — A 40-year-old woman was arrested in Nashua on Saturday.

Authorities say they were notified of a local home for a report of a violation of a protection order.

Police allege that Tonya A. Ano, of Nashua, had entered the residence of a man known to her after she had been served with a protective order preventing her from doing so.

Patrol arrested Ano for stalking without incident.

Detectives from the Special Investigations Divisions furthered the investigation and determined that Ano had a previous stalking related conviction within the past seven years, making this incident a Class B felony.

A Class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines.

She is being held pending her arraignment at Hillsborough County Superior Court-Southern District.
