WATERBURY — A 36-year-old man is facing charges following an incident in Waterbury this week.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop based on a minor motor vehicle violation on North Main Street at around 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 22.
One of the passengers, identified as Shane Roberts, of Waterbury, had current conditions of release not to have contact with another individual.
Police say that Roberts was in the car with the individual, thus violating his current conditions of release.
He is being charged with violation of conditions of release and is scheduled to appear in court on April 6.
