NASHUA — A 29-year-old man from New Hampshire was picked up by police on a warrant in Nashua on Wednesday.

Police say they arrested Reynaldo Tirado, of Nashua, New Hampshire, on an arrest warrant for theft by unauthorized taking.

On January 19, police were notified of a business on the Daniel Webster Highway, for the report of a shoplifting.

During the incident, police say Tirado had taken merchandise from the store, without paying for it.

He was identified as the suspect in the matter and a brief investigation revealed that he had two prior theft-related convictions.

The prior convictions make this shoplifting incident a class B felony.

The Criminal Investigation Division furthered the investigation and obtained an arrest warrant charging Tirado with theft by unauthorized taking.
