BENNINGTON — A 52-year-old woman from Chester was arrested for her second DUI following an incident in Bennington yesterday.
Police say they came upon a vehicle that slid off of U.S. Route 7 near mile marker 15.6 at around 11:10 p.m.
Police made contact with the driver who was identified as Jennette Riendeau.
While speaking with Riendeau, police say indicators of impairment were observed.
She was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
Riendeau was transported to the Shaftsbury barracks where she was processed and issued a citation to appear in court to answer to the charge of DUI #2.
She was released to a sober party.
