DUXBURY — A 53-year-old woman was arrested for simple assault following an incident in Duxbury today.
Authorities say they were notified of an assault on Dowsville Road at around 4:00 p.m.
Police say they responded to the area and met with the victim, identified as Terry Fitzgerald, 64, of Waterbury.
Fitzgerald told police that she was visiting with Patricia Reagan, of Duxbury, when she was punched in the head.
Reagan was located inside her home and taken into custody without incident.
Reagan was issued a criminal citation for the charge and ordered to appear in court and released.
