7 arrested in round-up in Nashua, Hudson

HUDSON — Police say they arrested seven people during a coordinated round-up in Nashua this week.

Members of the Hudson Police Department and the Nashua Police Department’s Narcotics Intelligence Division and Problem Oriented Policing Unit participated in a coordinated round-up operating under Operation Granite Shield.

Seven individuals were arrested for various drug crimes, crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity, and other criminal offenses.

Eric Higgins, 35, of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, was charged with acts prohibited, possession of a controlled drug (buprenorphine/naloxone)- class B felony, acts prohibited, possession of a controlled drug (amphetamine and dextroamphetamine)- class B felony, and an arrest warrant for simple assault- class A misdemeanor from Hampton, New Hampshire Police Department.

Higgins was transferred to the Hampton Police Department for further processing.

Joseph King, 30, of Nashua, New Hampshire was charged with acts prohibited, possession of a controlled drug (methamphetamine) subsequent offense– class A felony, and an arrest warrant for a fugitive from justice – felony, original charge being armed robbery issued by the Cambridge Massachusetts Police Department.

King was transferred to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections.

Nearro Forbes, 38, of Nashua, New Hampshire was charged with theft, class A misdemeanor.

Forbes was released on personal recognizance pending his future arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court.

Richard Higgins, 37, of Nashua, New Hampshire was charged with electronic bench warrant for theft – class A misdemeanor.

He was released on personal recognizance pending his future arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court.

James Trebby, 37, of Hudson, New Hampshire was charged with stalking, criminal threatening, obstruction of government administration, and breach of bail conditions- all class A misdemeanors.

Trebby refused bail and was transferred to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections.

Robert Johansen, 39, of Hudson, New Hampshire was charged with acts prohibited, possession of a controlled drug (trenbolone) and three counts of felon in possession of a dangerous weapon – all class B felonies.

Johansen was released on personal recognizance pending his future arraignment at the Hillsborough County Superior Court- Southern District.
