NASHUA — A 35-year-old man was arrested in Nashua on Wednesday.
Authorities say they were notified of a wallet that was stolen from a vehicle on July 18, 2022.
Kyle Doherty, of Nashua, was identified as the suspect.
Police say Doherty was attempting to use a credit card from the stolen wallet to make a purchase at a convenience store.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division furthered the investigation and determined Doherty had two prior guilty convictions for theft-related offenses out of New Hampshire.
He was charged with the attempted fraudulent use of a credit card, a misdemeanor, and breach of bail, a misdemeanor.
He was out on bail for an unrelated arrest on March 31.
He was ordered held on $50,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in court for the charges of receiving stolen property, two prior convictions, and class B felonies on March 31.
