HINESBURG — Police are investigating several vehicle break-ins that occurred in Hinesburg recently.
Authorities say they have increased their patrols around the reported areas and they strongly recommend keeping your vehicles and homes locked.
If your vehicle has been broken into, police say you should come into the station and file a report.
Also, if you see anything suspicious, call and report it immediately.
Police say they will only respond to a break-in that is in progress, otherwise come into the department and make a report the following morning.
There have been a number of vehicle break-ins reported around town.
Police say they are still investigating the incidents.
