WATERBURY — Police are investigating a shooting that took place in Waterbury today.
The incident took place on Vermont Route 100, near the Green Mountain Club, at around 11:00 a.m.
A man entered a local business and reported having been injured in the woods nearby.
Police say he had been shot.
He was transported by ambulance to the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say they are still investigating this incident.
