BRATTLEBORO — Police are investigating the death of a man found laying on a sidewalk in Brattleboro yesterday.
The incident took place on Flat Street, by the Brattleboro Transportation Center, at around 7:40 p.m.
Police say they located the subject and determined he was indeed deceased when they arrived.
After the initial on-scene investigation done in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the death is not considered suspicious and there is no safety concern for the general public.
The name of the individual is being withheld pending notification of his family.
