NASHUA — Police arrested two people in Nashua yesterday.
Authorities say they arrested Caitlin Fischer, 36, and Samantha O’Donnell, 29 following an investigation.
Both Fischer and O’Donnell were charged with the theft of lost or mislaid property.
In addition, O’Donnell was charged with falsifying physical evidence.
Earlier that afternoon, at 1:30 p.m., officers responded to a South Nashua apartment complex for a reported theft.
Police say they spoke with a resident of the community who reported a theft of mislaid property.
Detectives identified Fischer and O’Donnell as the persons responsible for retaining the misplaced property.
Police say O’Donnell had discarded a portion of the property during the commission of the offense.
Detectives within the Criminal Investigation Division assisted with the investigation.
Both Fischer and O’Donnell were released on personal recognizance and are scheduled to be arraigned on March 16.
