MILTON — A 48-year-old man from Milton was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in Cambridge early this morning.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic disturbance on Main Street at around 12:05 a.m.
Police allege that Jason Poquette had assaulted a domestic partner and left the scene.
A “be on the lookout” was aired for Poquette who was located in Milton at a convenience store by troopers.
While speaking with Poquette, police say they observed several indicators of impairment.
It was learned that Poquette was also operating with a criminally suspended license and violated court-ordered conditions not to be operating a vehicle without a valid license.
He was arrested without incident and transported to the Williston barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, he was issued a citation for the charges of 1st degree aggravated domestic assault, DUI, driving with a criminally suspended license, and violation of conditions of release.
He was ordered by the court to be held until sober at the Northwest State Correctional Facility.
