PUTNEY — A 34-year-old man from Springfield was cited following an incident in Putney last month.
Authorities say they were notified of a motor vehicle stopped in the middle of the road on I-91 at around 3:40 p.m. on January 6.
Police arrived and identified the driver as Vincent Turcio.
Following an investigation, police say he was cited for suspicion of DUI.
He was also charged with assault of a protected professional, and disorderly conduct.
He was medically evaluated by Brattleboro Memorial Hospital and was given a citation to appear in court on February 28.
