WALLINGFORD — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in Wallingford today.
The crash took place on US Route 7, north of Maple Street, at around 6:45 a.m.
Police identified one of the drivers as 26-year-old Aleea Dauphinais, of Wallingford.
Dauphinais’ vehicle, a 2008 Toyota Yaris, was located in the northbound lane of the road.
Troopers identified another driver as 32-year-old Courtney Garrison, of Bennington.
Garrison’s vehicle, a 2016 Kia Sorento, was located in the northbound lane of the road.
Police say that Dauphinais was traveling south before crossing the center lane lines and striking Garrison head-on.
Dauphinais sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.
She was in stable condition and transported to the Rutland Regional Medical Center.
Police say Garrison sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash.
