NASHUA — A 36-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Nashua on Wednesday.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic dispute at a local motel.
Responding officers made contact with the victim who reported being assaulted by a person known to her.

Also located at the motel was Warren Helm, who was identified as the suspect of the assaults.
Probable cause was developed and Helm was placed under arrest without incident for the reported assaults.
Detectives from the Special Investigations Division were notified of Helm’s arrest and furthered the investigation.
It was found that Helm strangled and struck the victim causing serious but non-life-threatening injuries during the assaults.
Damage was also caused to the local motel during the incident.
Helm was charged with two counts of domestic violence, second-degree assault, one count of domestic violence, simple assault, and one count of criminal mischief.
Helm was held on preventative detention and will be arraigned in the Hillsborough County Superior Court.
