NASHUA— A 30-year-old man from Massachusetts was arrested in Nashua yesterday.
Police say Jesus Lopez, of Lowell, was arrested on an outstanding warrant charging him with conduct after an accident.
On January 28, police were notified of an accident on the F.E. Everett Turnpike.
Responding officers say the driver had fled the area prior to their arrival.
Two passengers were transported to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives with the Nashua Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division furthered this investigation and identified Lopez as the driver of the vehicle.
An arrest warrant was sought for Lopez, and he was taken into custody yesterday.
A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years in state prison, exclusive of fines.
