NORTHFIELD — A 32-year-old woman was arrested in Northfield on Thursday.
Police say Amanda Conant was arrested for the robbery of Convenience Plus.
On November 2, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery at the store on North Main Street.
The cashier told police that the robbery was committed by a woman in a green hooded sweatshirt.
The suspect was described as approximately 5’03”, medium build, with the hood pulled tightly around her face and a bandana over her face.
Police say the money taken was approximately $860.
Later, during another investigation, police developed information that Conant had committed the robbery.
Conant was arrested due to several other warrants and brought to the Chittenden County Correctional Facility for lack of bail.
She was cited in court to answer the charges.
